I can has a decent job! \o/

I got hired to take Product Warranty related phone calls from the UK, Spain and other European countries with english or spanish speakers. Yay.

I got a nice paycheck coming my way (which is good, since I am scraping the bottom of my savings as it is) and I am working from 4:30 to 13:30. Graveyard shift ftw.

I am happy. This is a decent place, the job might not be downright bizarre like the other one was, but it pays well, and... I have to admit, after a while on the other job I started feeling guilty. I mean, idiots who call because they believe that bullshit = not cool in my book, but the 16 year old telling me about how she hated her mother because she took all the money she got just to buy beer for his father? Broke my heart a little. Specially when she mentioned that her father got violent sometimes. All I could do was give her the HOPE number and wish for the best. :/

This one job does not deal with real problems. If your router is broken, lady, you are not going to die of it. And this is good for me. :D

It's going to take a while until my training is done, but once that happens, you'll have a Mari back! At odd hours, but a Mari at least! :D Right now I am not suppossed to be using this thing, so I am kinda sneaking this post in. ♥

It occurred to me that I have yet to post an update on two important lil details. >_>;

1) I CAN HAS APARTMENT! New address coming soon in a flocked post.

2) I CAN NO LONGER HAS A JOB! I was fired about two weeks ago. >_>; oops. But, I am all right. Got a nice compensation check that will tide me over for 3~4 months. I am still gonna start looking for a job as soon as I finish moving, which will be next Friday~

And now I am going back to installing my video card's latest drivers. The effing thing flipped a while ago and I noticed they're 2 years old. lolz.

I made it! \o/

Already quit my old job (orgasmic experience, mind you), and have started the new one. Am in the middle of a crapload of workshops right now, but sometime around next Thursday the UNIX server training should begin. ♥ I should also get my laptop this Monday. :3 (which means I get to start being on LJ and messengers more often, yay!)

I've been working a normal person schedule, like, from 9am to 6pm. I can't believe it! Also, I am seeing all my friends regularly, since they work where I do now~ (most of them do, at least). I have also finished reading the book my dad got em from NYC, HeartSick; the fact that my dad chose that gave me warm fuzzies. He at least knows that if it bleeds I'm bound to like it. X3

Now that I have a new job and a normal schedule, the whole moving thing is much more of a reality. Hm, here's where I wonder if I have mentioned this before? Well, just in case: I am planning on moving out! \o/ But, I mean, not because of a fight or anything like that, this time, but because I've talked it over with a friend who wants to move out too, and we've been looking at the whole thing from an economic point of view, and we figured we can do it! :D Not to mention that I adore Steve to little bits and living together for 3-4 years, maybe more, depending on what life throws at us during that time, would be an awesome experience for both of us~ ♥

I found Le Chevalier D'Eon downloads, finally. Sadly they are all MU, but I'll have to work with it.

What else... oh! My WoW character (second character, actually, first one was abandoned on a server move) is level 65! \o/ Only 5 levels and 1000 gold to Kara! :DD

In case you are all "wtf, mari?", here, have an explanation.

I just gave a big ol' "fuck you" to work policies and am having dinner at my station. (arrived late, aye. X3) Am having tasty sushi~ ♥ with chopsticks and all. which is nothing impressive on its own, until you think of a person eating it in one of these. :P

Things at home are very fun desu, specially for the part where my kboard decided to kick the can. =_=; Stupid thing. Am through with wireless keyboards, I think. Will be buying a good old PS/2 one.

I am very very very close to finishing PW:JFA and can't~~~ >.<;;; this computer (work's) can't deal with all my work tools and the emulator. I think I will be finishing it today at home (go, onscreenkeyboard, go! a girl's gotta save her progress, yanno), that is, if I don't faint thf--- blood? wtf. ANYWAYS.- as I was saying, if I don't faint the second I get there. See, last night, I went to bed at 3am, alarm clock set to 12... last time I checked the clock, it was 11:30 and I hadn't fell asleep yet! >.<; I dozed off after taking a look at the clock at around that time. Of course the alarm went off at 12, as scheduled, and I kinda rolled over and decided I was coming in late to work. Changed the alarm to 2:30pm and was able to sleep a bit. I ended up waking up at 3:30pm, tho, so I ended up coming in even LATER than expected, but at least I don't feel completely zombified now. *eats more sushi!* Wow, wasabi is doing wonders for my formerly-stuffed nose. XD

I picked up Zombie Loan, and I have to admit I think I'll like it. I also got to Darker than Black's ep 12 and am eager to watch some more. Caught up on Devil May Cry (eps 3 and 4) and I continue to stupidly crush on Dante, yes. X3 Ah, Morikawa~ ♥

My dad and gf are leaving for a week this Friday! Yay~! Freedom. ♥

Ok, bear with me here. And try not to run in fear and disgust, but:

Lydia/Beetlejuice OTP ♥ (TV series version, obviously)

Youtube rocks and has both openings up for watching (even the spanish one is there. I liked his spanish voice. :D). ♥ And the first summoning ritual by Lyds!


And I just realized something! Their relationship? It's like a Integra/Alucard parody. I mean, Nazis and Sandworms aside, I think that if Hellsing's premise was less serious (what? Nazis armed with catboys and werewolves is totally serious business), Alucard and Integra's relationship would look a lot like Beetlejuice and Lydia's one.

Imma copypaste a bit from wikipedia's Lydia profile to further make my point (bolding is mine):

* Lydia Deetz - A goth girl in her early teens, who doesn't feel like she fits into the real world, Lydia is Beetlejuice's best friend. He frequently calls her "Lyds" or "Babes." She summons him into her presence, or makes her own way to his, by chanting his name three times; occasionally she is shown making use of a longer, more elaborate ritual to bring him out of the Neitherworld or send herself into it. Unlike Beetlejuice himself, Lydia is almost universally beloved by the Neitherworld cast of the show.

There is some small inference to be made from the show that Lydia may have a certain amount of power in her own right, possibly given to her by Beetlejuice. As has already been mentioned, it is repeatedly stated that she is the one person he cannot (and, most likely, will not) trick. Characters who pose any sort of threat to Lydia herself (e.g. Bully the Crud or Claire Brewster) are subjected to the only genuine wrath Beetlejuice ever displays; for the most part, "life" is simply a game to him, but he will not tolerate any insult or injury to her. Meanwhile, those who conceivably threaten their relationship (e.g. Prince Vince) are the objects of his profound jealousy and resentment. In one episode, we learn that Beetlejuice actually has a working shrine to her in his mind.

Now, when Beetlejuice visits the real world, he has to disguise himself. One of his disguises (which he has NO PROBLEM using) is BettyJuice. Anyone remember Girlycard? XD
